Gorgoroth was founded in 1992 by Hat, Infernus and
Goat Pervertor. This is one of the big norwegian black
metal bands like f.ex. Emperor, that you must hail for
eternity. The wise have spoken, now obey! Gorgoroth
has like many of the other great bands in the
norwegian black metal family, been blessed with the
extensive representation of geniality by numerous of
the best musician in Norway. Like mentioned before,
Gorgoroth was founded by Hat, Infernus and Goat
Pervertor, of which only Infernus is still
contributing to this godlike band, and has thus
participated on guitar on all Gorgoroth albums, aswell
as being in the band Desekrator and on the splendid
cult debut release from Borknagar, called Borknagar.
Hat only got to scream on the 1993 demo A Sorcery
Written In Blood, on the 1994 Pentagram debut release
and on the 1996 Antichrist release. Goat Pervertor
only got to play drums on the demo and on the debut. A
dude named Kjettar played bass on the demo, but was
later replaced as he had to go to jail because he
burned down a church, something that was really trendy
at that time in Norway. Funny thing is that his
replacement was in the unholy presence of Samoth of
Emperor, Satyricon, Burzum, Arcturus, Zyklon and
Zyklon-B, who himself later had to stop in Gorgoroth
to go to jail for churcharson. He got to play bass on
Pentagram. A true heathen kyrkjebrennr.
